I used to have the worst days on my period. And when you’re hunched over with a tattoo machine, and you can’t lose focus for even a second, you don’t want an annoying uterus to interrupt things.

Thinx gifted me some period panties recently, and I admit I was a lil skeptical. (They didn’t pay me to write this, btw. I just have so many femme clients, I figured it’d be relevant info for you.) But yeah, so,

THEY’RE FUCKING GREAT.

I wore them all day on one of my heaviest periods. I went to yoga, tattooed three people back to back, and didn’t need to interrupt anything, or worry about my favorite pink bellbottoms getting a stain. I think I only had to change them after late-night drinks, some 16 hours later.

So yeah. I felt sexier than I ever have before on my period. And it’s good to not use tampons anyway (so many poisons are in them! Seriously, we shouldn’t put anything in our bodies that will kill us if we don’t take it out!)
