Friends are great for experimentation… (if you both know what you’re doing! :) — please don’t go tattoo your friends if you’re not a tattooer.)

Mira had mentioned wanting something organic on her knuckles and around one of her fingers like a ring. We had some down time today, so dreamed this one up!

It’s been a wild year, the two of us getting so much attention that it feels a little like… the digital hype doesn’t always match our down-to-earth lives, if that makes sense? Like you get featured in magazines and TV shows and (in her case) on Ariana Grande’s hand, but you’re still a regular person with mistakes and fears and things you’re unsure about.

Anyway, we are sisters in this experience. And so it was my total honour to mark her hands for the rest of her life.
