yaaas 🌈queer flash night️️
Last night was SO much fun, you guys!!
My friend and the amazing homoerotic illustrator Piros Coltman held his vernissage (that’s French for the launch of an art show) at Bizarre Bushwick!
I had so much fun tattooing from this flash sheet inspired by his artwork!
We did about 10 tattoos in just 5 hours!
Flash nights in busy places other than a tattoo studio can be super stressful sometimes, because we’re always thinking about how to stay clean, and keep dangerous things like needles and blood-soaked paper towels away from the people walking all around you. But I’ve tattooed in weird places so much that I have my own system down now!!
BY THE WAY, Bizarre Bushwick is Brooklyn’s best kept secret! it’s such a fun bar with sexy cabaret and music shows all the time, if you’re in NY you have to check it out!
It’s such a great feeling to be tattooing in the middle of a party, around such good energies and conversations. In a space like an art show at a bar, I get to hear wild conversations come and go, and hear so much laughter, and watch my beautiful friend see the reactions to his artwork!
Thank you so much to Piros, Bizarre Bushwick and all you beautiful people who came to join us!
